Happy Holidays everyone. I would love to see this group grow into a cohesive community and not just a pump and dump. I don't know about you guys but this is my art addiction. I never claimed to have the most talent but I do have 20 some odd years of existence either taking classes, seeing work in museums, gallery shows etc. So don't mind me if I comment away.

Yes I am glad I was allowed to join as I am sure many of you are. Getting a chance to work on technique while not being slammed by the art critics is always a plus. Everyone has to start somewhere and ironically enough, the art world doesn't have an age limit so to speak of. You can be 50 and exhibiting or 18 and getting your work in for the first time. Yes styles go in and out, as I am surprised at the rapid shift in style in the industry. What use to be a ten year period of style gets replaced in about 3 so keeping up is hard. Guess that means we should all draw more hunh?
